Price range: $39.99 through $149.99
Introducing the Green Mountain Boxwood from Platt Hill Nursery – a stunning hybrid broadleaf evergreen that boasts a pyramidal shape and promises to add a touch of elegance to any garden or landscape. With its compact size and ability to take trimming well, this evergreen is a popular choice for creating accent hedges or as a detail plant in your garden.
This hardy variety is prized for its rich, green foliage, which remains evergreen throughout the winter months, making it a standout feature year-round. It’s a relatively low maintenance shrub that can be easily pruned at any time and requires minimal upkeep to maintain its shape.
At maturity, the Green Mountain Boxwood will reach a height of 5 feet with a spread of 3 feet, filling out right to the ground and making it an ideal choice for planting under power lines. This slow-growing plant is expected to live for approximately 30 years under ideal conditions, making it a worthwhile investment for any garden or landscape project.
