Platt Hill Nursery carries birch and mixed hardwood firewood. All of our firewood is seasoned or kiln dried before it is sold to ensure quality.

 Mixed hardwood is a dense hardwood. This means it provides higher energy content and means it will release more heat. Mixed kiln dried firewood produces a very slow-burning and hot fire. Perfect for efficiency-style fireplaces that help heat the home.

Birch is very attractive and gives off a lot of heat, but it burns fairly quickly. Seasoned birch firewood offers a great scent as it burns that is sure to delight. Plus, birch logs are especially attractive on the hearth at the holidays.

Platt Hill Nursery sells our premium firewood by volume as a red rick (2×2), yellow rick 2×4), half a face cord (4×4) or full face cord (4×8). We do not sell firewood by the piece count.
