HOW PLATT HILL NURSERY LENDED A HELPING HAND

The team provided personalized support, filling in knowledge gaps for the busy, first-time homeowners who lacked gardening experience. Their approachable and attentive service created a trusted partnership that the family continues to rely on for outdoor advice.

THE MATTINGLY  CHALLENGE

Bobby and Erin were first time home owners with a growing family. As with any first-time homeowners, who do you call, your parents. They didn’t know what to do with the inside or the outside of their home. Erin’s parents provided good advice on how to fix both the inside and outside of their home. Erin had grown up going to Platt Hill Nursery with her parents, so it was not anything new or novel on where to go.

OUR TEAMS CHALLENGE

The whole family ended up venturing to Platt Hill Nursery. Coincidentally, her parents had recently moved and needed to do some upgrading to their own outdoor space. The whole family travelled out to Platt Hill Nursery to tackle both projects at once. With two small children in tow, the family ran around the Platt Hill Nursery property for hours. Erin’s parents were there to show them what quality plants looked like and pick the right plants for their growing spaces.

“I did not know anything about plants before we stared, thankfully my parents were seasoned gardeners. I also do not have a lot of time as both Bobby and I work, so we needed some easy, healthy stuff.”

Erin’s parents were eventually able to break away and get some more pointed advice from some of the Platt Hill Nursery team members. “I like the fact that the employees are always willing to help as much as possible. I go to other places and it feels like the employees are too busy to talk with me. Not my friends at Platt Hill Nursery, they go out of their way to make sure we have everything.”
