10am Plantscaping
When “plantscaping” you are doing it yourself and it’s very rewarding! Rick Vuyst shares useful considerations on incorporating plants in your yard based on the Gardening Simplified Show’s episode 100 “Gardentopia!” (yes it’s attainable) and episode 72 “Layering plants in your landscape.” Join us, it will be informative and a kick in the plants! 

1pm Easy to Grow Plants
“Can’t miss plants you’ll find at the garden center.” Rick Vuyst focuses on plants that are “over-achievers” and “can’t miss” for your landscape. We live in the golden age of plant breeding with many new introductions! This year’s “plants of the year”, new introductions and old favorites available in abundance! A synopsis based on the Gardening Simplified Show episodes 72, 81, 122-124 and 127. So many plants, so little time. As one of our viewers wrote to us: “Life is too short for proper spacing!”
